Hello my fellow TCAV members.
I am honored to have been re-elected President at our recent 2016 TCAV AGM.
I have attached above my Presidents report for 2015/16 and hope to add more value in the ensuing year.

I thank those in attendance at the AGM for awarding me Life Membership.
I am very humbled to follow in the footsteps of many of my mentors, and it is greatly appreciated.
Board members Tim Connelly, Robert Peterson and Richard Bruce-Smith were all re-elected for a further 2 year term.
Craig Miller opted to stand down from the Board this year after completing his 2 year term and we thank him for his input.
We are delighted though to welcome Adrian Muscillo from Eildon Park Tennis Club as our newest and youngest Board member.
Adrian has been a past winner of the TCAV Club Coach Award and several Tennis Victoria and Tennis Australia Coaching Awards and is keen to put back into his profession.

The Official Invitation for TCAV’s 60th Birthday Dinner to be held at Kooyong on December 3rd 2016 can be found in a previous post.
The legendary Frank Sedgman, (our first President and patron for over 20 years) will be our guest and share some interesting stories with us all.
Our fourth ever Legend will also be inducted who I know will entertain you and share his fantastic journey on the night.
Add a fun comedian to the mix and you should be well entertained. We hope many of you will support this function and help celebrate the proud history of TCAV.

The Tennis Victoria Forum on Wednesday 5th October went ahead at AAMI Park following the TV AGM, however the topic as notified changed to ‘Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail’.
The original topic of ‘Successful Club and Coach Relationships’ has now been postponed to Wednesday 5th April 2017 during the first week of school holidays in the hope this time slot will be more suitable for coaches.
Please also mark in your diaries the Tennis Victoria/TCAV Golf Day to be held on Friday 7th April 2017.

Today I attended a ‘Local Advisory Group’ (LAG) meeting re coaching issues in Victoria.
Peter Lumsdon will now be the Victorian representative on the ‘National Coach Advisory Group’ (NCAG) as Wes Horskins has just completed his term.
TA will promote this avenue and contact details in the near future as a means for the coaches voice to be heard.

Looking forward to taking all your bookings for our 60th birthday dinner.
Kind Regards,
Julie Fidler
TCAV President
